Valentin Debise Secures Double Podium at Home Round

Valentin Debise enjoyed a strong home round at Magny-Cours in the 2026 FIM World Supersport Championship, taking pole position and finishing third in both races.

Racing in front of his home crowd, the French rider showed strong pace throughout the weekend and remained in the fight at the front of the WorldSSP field.

Race 1: Podium at Home

Starting from pole position, Debise stayed with the leading riders during Race 1 and battled for a podium finish.

He eventually crossed the line in third place, securing his first podium of the French Round.

Race 2: Another Podium

Debise returned to the grid for Race 2 with another opportunity to fight at the front. Once again, he remained competitive throughout the race and finished third.

The result gave Debise back-to-back podium finishes at his home round and another solid points haul for his championship campaign.

Championship Standings

After the French Round, Debise remains second in the WorldSSP Riders' Championship with 241 points.

With three rounds still remaining, the 2026 WorldSSP season now enters its final stages.

Looking Ahead

The WorldSSP championship now moves to Cremona, Italy, for the next round on September 25–27.

Debise will look to carry his momentum from Magny-Cours into the remaining rounds of the season.
