What is International Female Ride Day?

International Female Ride Day® (IFRD) is celebrated annually worldwide on the first Saturday of May. The day celebrates women motorcycle riders and is not country, group or organisationally specific – it is a globally synchronised “JUST RIDE!”© day, for women. Vicki Gray created IFRD for all women individually, in groups and collectively –  everywhere!

About Daughters of the Road (DOTR)

Daughters of the Road (DOTR) is an initiative using the vehicle of two and four wheels in order to open a dialogue contributing to the empowerment of women globally. With its inception in 2015 as an online blog - they used the power of social media to connect with women in the motorsports world and share their stories. What started as a blog has now sprouted into many different facets of the digital space.
